Bass Busters Tournament Rules.

Amateur Bass Fishermen Only.

FEES:

1. There will be an annual membership fee of $30.00 per boat to join the club,
    Payable before you fish the first tournament.

2. Fees will be for Permits, Equipment, Party, Website and the top 5 Places at the end of the season.

3. Optional Big Fish pot of $10.00 per boat will be paid at the end of the season for the biggest
    fish caught during the season.

4. Membership fees and Big Fish fees are nonrefundable.

5. There will be a $40.00 entry fee at each tournament for each boat.

6. There will be (2) two day tournaments, The entry fee of $80.00 per boat will have to be paid on the first
    day of the tournament and you must fish both days.

7. There will be a 100% payback at all tournaments.

PAY BACK:

8. Regular Season : First Place $20.00 per boat. Second Place $10.00 per boat.
   
Third Place $5.00 per boat. Big Fish $5.00  per boat.

9. Two day tournaments will pay: First Place $35.00 per boat, Second Place $20.00 per boat,
    Third Place $10.00 per boat,
Fourth Place $5.00 per boat and Big Fish $10.00 per boat.

10. If there's NO Fish Caught, All money will go to the top five places at the end of the year.
     If there's (1) fish caught then winner takes all.

11. If first and second place is earned and NO Third place finish then third place money will go
     to the top five places at the end of the year.
     This rule also applies for the (2) day tournaments on
3rd and 4th place.

12. If there is a tie big fish will determine first place, If still tied then the most fish,
     If still tied a toss of a coin wins.

AWARDS:

13. Top five finishing teams during the regular season "determined by weight"
     will receive a cash prize at the season end.
    
14. Two pounds will be added to each boat total weight for showing up ON TIME at each paid tournament.
     If your late then you will lose one pound from your show up weight for being late!
     You have
15 Mins before blast off time to pay or your late. No Excuses!!

15. One pound will also be added for each creel limit of five fish.

16. Five pounds will be added at the end of the season for each boat that fished all the tournaments
     during the season.

LIMITS:

17. There will be a Five Fish limit per boat but you can have a Sixth Fish if you have one that needs a courtesy
     measurement to make your
Five Fish.

18. All fish will be measured with a Golden Rule by Junior. If Junior is not available
     then someone else will be appointed.  If he says the fish does not measure then
     he is word is final.
DO NOT Argue with his call. There will be NO RE-MEASUREMENT!

19. Courtesy measurement must be asked for before fish are weighed. " One Per Boat "

20. One pound will be deducted for each short fish and fish will not be counted.

21. One pound deduction for EACH dead fish weighed.

CREEL LIMITS:

22. Avents Ferry: All bass have to be 14" or better as of 7-1-07. 
     Tillary: All bass have to be 14" or better.
     Falls & Beaver Dam: All bass have to be 16" or better.

23. Jordan Lake: All fish must be over 16". Harris Lake two bass under 14",
     three bass 14" to 15-15-16's" or over 20".
     Harris Lake has a slot limit from 16"to 20" where
NO fish can be kept. 

GENERAL INFORMATION AND RULES:

24. Trolling motors ONLY, no gas motors allowed on the boat.

25. Artificial bait only, NO LIVE BAIT.

26. All fish must be caught from the boat. No bank fishing.

27. Blast off time will be posted for each tournament. You will have 15 Mins before blast off to pay or Your Late!
     No fishing before blast off or after 1pm. If caught you will be
Disqualified.
     All boats must stay in a 50 yard range in a group for blast off. If called back you will go to the rear of the pack.

28. All live wells MUST BE checked before the tournament starts. If you are late you MUST
     have another team that has already paid that is on the water to check your live well and pay
     them
BEFORE you start fishing. The team that checks your live well WILL be asked before any money be
     awarded or weight be counted.

29. Weigh in time will be announced at each blast off. One pound will be deducted for each minute your late up to
     ten minutes. After ten minutes you will be
Disqualified.

30. Members can have a visitor to fish with them Six Times per year.

31. No members from different teams may fish together unless there was a team change where two
     members dropped out and the remaining two members asked to be a team for the rest of the year.
     You will lose
50% of your total weight then start from there for the rest of the year.

32.  Visiting boats can only fish one tournament per year unless they join the club.

33. Tournaments will be fished at scheduled locations unless the water is unsafe or the conditions are bad.
   
34. Harris and Jordan Lakes have barriers and NO boat is allowed behind them.
     Should a boat be caught behind the barriers that boat will be disqualified.

35. Use common courtesy, DO NOT crowd another boat while fishing. DO NOT cut another boat off
     that is fishing a spot you know they are working. Stay at least 50 yards away from another boat.

36. There will be (2) two day tournaments each year. The club will meet for dinner and the locations that's
     been fished to present will be put into a hat and drawn to determine the locations for the tournaments.
     If Tillary or Falls are fished then they will not be put into the two classic because of the long drive.

37. Two day tournaments will have to be fished with your regular season partner.
     Should you have to change partners then the new partner will have to had fished
     at least two tournaments prior to this event.

38. Catch and release unless your going to have the fish mounted or the fish is dead.
    
39. There will be a club cook out at the seasons end to award the top five finishing teams
     as well as the team with the biggest fish.

40. Our club reserves the right to refuse Anyone to join our club.

41. If any of these rules are broken you will be Disqualified with out question.

42. You MUST sign a waiver to join the club. Fish at your own risk, Have fun and be safe.

Notice: Rules can be changed or updated by Crossbow with out notice when deemed necessary
to better benefit the club. Crossbow's boat will fish for free for doing all the hard work it takes
 to run these tournaments.
